Still deciding

Compare financing options.

Similar-sounding products can behave very differently once you look at access to funds, repayment structure, cost, and collateral.

Two products can solve the same problem in very different ways — one trades a lower rate for slower funding, another trades speed for a higher cost. The fastest way to see that is side by side, not spread across separate pages.

Before you compare offers

Four terms that can change what financing actually costs.

Not definitions for their own sake — these are the concepts that materially change how you read an offer.

The comparison number APR

The true annualized cost of financing — every fee folded in, expressed as one percentage.

Why it mattersTwo offers can look completely different on the surface and cost almost the same once fees are included. APR is the one number built to compare them honestly.
Factor Rate

A flat multiplier — 1.3 on $10,000 means you repay $13,000, regardless of how fast.

Watch for: it looks smaller than an interest rate. It isn't the same number, and it isn't meant to be compared like one.

DSCR

Your cash flow, divided by your debt payments.

Watch for: lenders use it to check the payment actually fits your business — above 1.0 on paper doesn't guarantee it fits in practice.

Personal Guarantee

Your written promise to repay personally if the business can't.

Watch for: it's common, even on business-only products — worth knowing before you sign, not after.

Popular questions

Quick answers, before you dig deeper.

Will checking my options hurt my credit?+

No. Checking your options through Fundur is a soft inquiry — it won't affect your credit score.

What credit score do I need?+

Most lenders in Fundur's network start around a 500 personal credit score — a typical signal, not a guarantee. Exact thresholds vary by lender, and SBA loans or term loans generally expect a stronger profile.

Do I need collateral to qualify?+

It depends on the product. Equipment financing is typically secured by the asset itself, while broader options like working capital loans are usually credit-based rather than asset-secured.

APR vs. factor rate — what's the difference?+

A factor rate is a flat multiplier applied once. APR is the true annualized cost, fees included — the number that lets you compare products apples-to-apples.

How fast can a business actually get funded?+

Speed varies by product — working capital and lines of credit can fund within a day, while an SBA loan can take 30–90 days.

Why do business loan applications get declined?+

Common reasons include cash flow, time in business, and an unclear use of funds — not just credit score. Our guide breaks down what's actually fixable.
