ABOUT FUNDUR

You shouldn't need a lending degree to fund your business.

Fundur exists because business owners are experts in their own business, not in financing — and the industry has never made that easy to fix. We compare what's actually available for your situation, explain the real differences in plain English, and say so when something isn't a fit.

No hard credit pull to see your options

WHY WE EXIST

Financing has a hundred names for the same problem, and none of them explain themselves.

Working capital, a line of credit, factoring, a term loan, an SBA loan — most owners have heard all five and couldn't tell you which one solves their actual problem.

Ask ten owners why they ended up with financing that didn't quite fit, and eight will describe some version of the same afternoon: a lender said yes fast, the number looked right, and nobody in the conversation had a reason to mention the product down the hall that would have cost less or matched the timeline better. That's not a story about one bad lender. It's what happens by default when the person explaining your options is also the one selling them.

Fundur exists to change who's on that side of the table. Not by selling one product harder, but by starting with your situation, comparing what's actually available for it, and telling you — in plain English — what changes between the offers you're shown. You already know your business. We know how financing works. That's the whole division of labor.

HOW IT WORKS

The mechanism is simple. The judgment is the actual work.

Anyone can describe three steps. What actually matters is what happens inside the middle one.

You

Describe the situation

About four minutes. The business, and what the money's for.

Compare & explain

An advisor reads it first, weighs it against our lender network, and translates what comes back.

Lenders

Real offers, compared

The same six lines on every offer, wherever a lender's structure allows it.

What we're actually weighing in the middle step

"How long has the business actually been running?"

Not a disqualifier — a filter. Newer businesses aren't ruled out; they're matched to the lenders actually built for that stage.

"Is last quarter a pattern, or a fluke?"

Steady beats big. An unglamorous, repeatable number predicts better to a lender than one great month that isn't going to happen again.

"What is the money actually for?"

This changes everything. The same amount can be an easy yes at one lender and an automatic no at another, purely because of what it's buying.

Fundur is a financing marketplace, not a lender. Fundur does not make credit decisions or guarantee approval, rates, terms, or funding times. Final terms depend on lender approval.

WHAT WE STAND ON

One promise we'd stake the company on. A few more we hold ourselves to.

THE ONE THAT MATTERS MOST

We'll say no before a lender does.

If the numbers say another payment makes the month worse, not better, that's what we tell you — even though it isn't the sale.

What that looks like: an owner comes to us wanting to buy out a partner with a term loan. The math says the payment would eat the margin for two years. We say that, in those words, before the file goes anywhere.

A financing marketplace, not a lender.

We don't make credit decisions, and we won't blur that line.

Checking your options costs you nothing.

It's a soft inquiry — it doesn't touch your credit score, whether or not you go further.

Every offer, compared the same way.

Payment, frequency, term, total cost, early payoff — wherever a lender's structure allows a direct comparison.

Your file goes where it fits, not everywhere.

Sent to the lenders likely to actually fund it — not blasted across a list to see what sticks.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Built for owners who are done guessing. Honest about who we can't help yet.

Most of the businesses we work with are established enough to have real numbers to show — and would rather spend an afternoon understanding their options than a month discovering them by trial and error.

Typically a fit

  • Steady monthly depositsA pattern a lender can actually underwrite against.
  • A few months of real trading historyEnough for revenue and cash flow to speak for the business.
  • A US business bank accountWhere the deposits a lender reviews actually land.
  • A clear reason for the moneyThe single biggest thing that changes which product actually fits.

Where we're honest we're probably not the first call

  • No trading history yetA bank, an SBA startup route, or the equipment vendor directly is usually the better first step — and we'll say so.
  • A handful of industriesA few sectors most lenders in our network won't touch. We'll say so in the first conversation.
  • When another payment makes the month worseIf the math says more debt makes the problem bigger, not smaller, that's the answer — even when it isn't the sale.

Typical signals only — exact thresholds vary by lender and borrower. These aren't requirements, just what usually makes a conversation productive.

WHAT FUNDUR ACTUALLY IS

There are three ways to find business financing. We built the third one.

1

Go straight to one lender

You get a fast answer — to a question they were always going to answer the same way, because they only sell one thing.

2

Post your information to a comparison site

It doesn't go to one company. It goes to twenty, and your phone starts ringing before you've finished reading the results.

Fundur

One advisor, one file, sent only to the lenders likely to actually fit it — with someone on the other end who explains what's different and says so when nothing fits well.

We're not a lender, and we're not a list. We're the part of the process that used to be missing.

HOW WE THINK ABOUT IT

Same problem, six different tools — the right one depends on the situation, not the sales pitch.

A gap between finishing the work and getting paid isn't the same problem as a machine that broke down, or a lease you're buying out. We work across all of it, because assuming one product fits every situation is exactly the habit this page is arguing against.

Full breakdowns live on Small Business Loans, our product overview, and on our growing set of industry pages — construction is live today, with more following the same standard.

You know what your business needs. We know how to fund it.

That's the whole reason Fundur exists. Tell us what you're building — we'll take it from there, and tell you the truth about what we find.
